Well worn and not so cared for any longer. I was actually looking to stay at another hotel across the street but ended up here. First room we entered in this 100% non-smoking hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Not wanting to get the blame (and associated fees) for the odor or having the desire to smell it during our stay we requested to be moved after informing them of the smell. Service desk did accommodate the move with little difficulty. Pool closed, carpets rippled and stained, ice machine rooms locked (had to go to the ground floor after trying a couple floors), stained furniture walls and tub, broken furniture left in room (see video) for guest use (looks like a law suit in the works of any are interested)

The room was clean but well used. The ottoman extremely, grossly strained. There was not a fan in the bathroom nor a light in the shower area. The vanity lights above the sink did not light the shower with the curtain closed. Free breakfast was minimal. Hot offerings were eggs and bacon. The breakfast staff was not friendly and ignored me when I asked for an item to be refilled. Desk staff ladies were very pleasant at check in and checkout.

Room was older and could use updating but very clean, bed comfy, and front desk staff were very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast attendant seemed to be struggling to keep up with demand but good food selection.

Such a wonderful stay! Darell at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. What they don’t have in the rooms, they make up in excellent customer service and an inviting team. Would definitely recommend staying here for a quick trip to Raleigh.

They use Dove products for personal travel toiletries! Breakfast was well-tended and very sufficient. Our room was very quiet and we had an excellent night of sleep.

Good points, nice room and well equipped , fitness and heated pool, friendly staff. Bed and pillows are good. Mac Do next door. Bad points, train is just behind the hotel and you feel it in your bed, house keeping does not do a great job…when they come. Breakfast finish at 9:30 even during week end and at 9:30 everything is gone, even before sometimes. WiFi is really slow at 5mb/s. Card for access room work really bad. Toiletry are not replaced and sometimes not enough towels. Some improvement needed specially house keeping who is really below average and furniture need to be deep cleaned or replaced. Management is proactive and it’s a good point.
